Edith is a proud Florida native, born in Jacksonville and raised in the Fleming Island and Doctors Inlet areas of Clay County, on Swimming Pen Creek and near Doctors Lake. She graduated from Middleburg High School. Edith’s family has deep roots in Putnam County—her mother was raised in Palatka, graduated from Mellon High School, and later moved to St. Augustine.

With a strong reputation for reliability and extensive experience, Edith has been a dedicated State Farm Agent since 2001. She began her career with State Farm in 1988 in Jacksonville, worked at the home office in Bloomington, IL, starting in 1995, and then returned to the Federal Point area in East Palatka in 2001, when she also opened her agency in Palatka.

Edith is passionate about serving her community and takes pride in helping individuals, families, and business owners find the coverage and service they need and deserve. Edith is a graduate of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville and earned her CLU and ChFC designations. She is a longtime member of the Chamber of Commerce and supports many local charities and nonprofits, including the Bread of Life of Palatka.

Edith is happily married to her husband and high school sweetheart (who met in the 5th grade at Doctors Inlet Elementary School). Together, they have two grown children who both grew up in Putnam County, graduated from Palatka High School and are currently residing in Jacksonville. When she is not at the agency, Edith loves spending time with her family and friends as much as possible. On the weekends, you are likely to find Edith on the St Johns River, visiting with her Federal Point neighbors, working in her yard, tending to her flower gardens, grabbing lunch or coffee with friends, spending time with her grand-pups, watching football, riding her bike, or snuggling her cats who think they are dogs. Living life to the fullest is Edith’s top priority and she is on a mission to assist others to do the same.
